WoundDX

WoundDX is a swab-based PCR test designed to identify which type(s) of bacteria are causing the infection, and which antibiotic would best treat the infection and help heal the wound.  Utilizing PCR technology, we are able to detect the presence of pathogens as well as the presence of antibiotic resistant genes.  PCR is paired with our internally validated methods for testing Antibiotic Sensitivity Testing of the identified pathogens to ensure personalized therapy options for the patient.
